Classen Fuhrmanns & Partner advised Kajo Neukirchen Group on acquisition of Seeger-Orbis

The Kajo Neukirchen Group acquired Seeger-Orbis GmbH & Co. OHG including the Chinese production and sales companies from the US company Barnes Group Inc.

Seeger-Orbis is a leading manufacturer of retaining and snap rings based in Königstein/Taunus. The annual turnover generated by the group of companies most recently amounted to approximately 60 million US dollars

The Kajo Neukirchen Group is a German family business specializing in long-term investment commitments in industrial, real estate and other markets, mainly in Europe. The Kajo Neukirchen Group was founded by Dr. Kajo Neukirchen, a longstanding CEO of international corporations and enterprises.

The NYSE-listed Barnes Group is a global provider of products and services in industries such as aerospace, transportation, manufacturing, healthcare, automation and packaging.

On the part of the Kajo Neukirchen Group the transaction was legally supported by Classen Fuhrmanns & Partner. The law firm has been advising the Kajo Neukirchen Group in its M&A activities for over ten years, such as the sale of the LGI Group (approx. EUR 430 million turnover) to the Swedish Elanders Group in 2016, the acquisition of Neenah Lahnstein GmbH (approx. EUR 50 million) from the US company Neenah Paper Inc. in 2015 or the acquisition of ITG GmbH (approx. EUR 150 million) from the DHL Group in 2013.
