The LGI Logistics Group International GmbH (LGI) is a full-service logistics provider with a focus on the automotive, electronics, industrial, and healthcare sectors. LGI is well-established at 30 locations in Europe with over 2,300 employees. In 2012, LGI achieved net sales in the amount of approximately € 245 million. The company was founded as an outsourcing of Hewlett Packard Deutschland GmbH in 1995 and has its headquarters in Herrenberg near Stuttgart.
The ITG GmbH Internationale Spedition + Logistik (ITG) with headquarters at Munich Airport is a midsized minded international logistics service provider with eight logistics centers in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, USA as well as Russia. Inter alia, ITG offers logistics services to well-known brand manufacturers from the fashion and life style sector. With roughly 1,000 employees, ITG achieved net sales of over € 150 million in 2012. Since 1999 Deutsche Post DHL is the shareholder of ITG.

In 2012, Classen Fuhrmanns & Partner had already advised the Kajo Neukirchen GmbH and the M Cap Finance Mittelstandsfonds GmbH & Co. KG on the acquisition of the LGI from the Willi Betz Group.
