Neenah Lahnstein GmbH, founded in 1911, focuses on high-quality special papers, wetlaid nonwovens and synthetic fibre papers for industrial and graphic design applications, e. g. for fraud resistant ID-documents, outdoor advertising or premium wall paper. The company has its corporate seat at Lahnstein nearby Koblenz and generates sales of about 50 million EUR per year with a staff of approximately 200 employees.
The transaction still needs to be approved by the cartel authorities.
The Kajo Neukirchen Group is a family office located at Eschborn nearby Frankfurt, specialized in substantial investments in German mid-sized companies of the capital goods industry. These investments aim at a long term enhancement in value, preserving the corporate identity of the acquired companies.
Classen Fuhrmanns & Partner already provided the Kajo Neukirchen Group with legal advice within numerous transactions, e. g. in 2012 conducting the acquisition of LGI Logistics Group International GmbH (sales in 2014: approx. 410 million EUR), from Willi Betz Group or in 2013 the acquisition of ITG GmbH (sales in 2014: approx. 150 million EUR) from Deutsche Post/DHL Group.
